Before he was the newest signee to Epic Records, Rick Ross was fulfilling his contract obligations with Def Jam Records. The end result was Black Market, a quasi-sewuel of sorts to his 2015 summer mixtape Black Dollar.
The album would have the song “Peace Sign,” produced by DJ Mustard—but originally belonged to Jeremih and even has his original’s vocals (albeit uncredited) attached.
Kinda confusing? Not really. Needlessly complicated? Somewhat. Either way, Ross’ version gets a matching set of visuals, with Fat Trel pantomiming Jeremih’s part while a random woman is feeling herself (quite literally) on a bed of rose petals. Happy Thursday?
