In connection with H&M, M.I.A. revealed a new song, “Rewear It,” as a part of World Recycle Week and released a video to pair with it.

Revolving around the idea it’s alright and beneficial to 1) re-wear clothes and 2) if you don’t want certain clothes, make sure they get into the hands of people who want them, Mathangi dances and sings her single on top of a large stack of recyclable paper while the video is cut with people around the world dancing to her tune.

The clothing company released a short statement along with the video:

Join H&M and M.I.A. for a celebration of sustainable style, culminating in World Recycle Week from 18-24 April.

Pretty much, if you don’t recycle, use this week to try and pick up that habit. And, to focus on clothes, donate some of your unwanted apparel to H&M, as they’re trying to collect 1,000 tons (or one million pounds) of unwanted clothing. Be good. Do good. Find out more at hm.com.
