Released with very little warning, Kendrick Lamar‘s untitled unmastered — the compilation of leftover tracks from his To Pimp A Butterfly sessions — quickly notched the top spot on the Billboard charts its debut week, with its “unofficial” first single “Levitate” also landing on the Top 100 as well.
However, despite its widespread acclaim and accomplishments thus far, not too much was revealed about its contributors. Sure, Swizz Beatz proudly displayed his son Egypt’s portion on “untitled 07 | 2014 – 2016,” while others like Cardo revealed their parts via social media, but now TDE’s Sounwave has unveiled the album’s contributors in full.
The in-house producer took to his Twitter account to share these credits, as some were erroneously credited on the lists that started circulating after the album dropped. Some notable notes are “untitled 08 | 09.06.2014.” being wrongly credited to DJ Khalil, who as it turns out did not do anything on untitled unmastered at all, and “untitled 01 | 08.19.2014.” which did not feature the work from Hit-Boy.
Here is the correct listing:
As it turns out, “untitled 03 | 05.28.2013.” was improperly attributed as well. Hopefully, now, these are the “final versions,” but regardless the album is still a worthy listen.
