London emcee Little Simz has been relatively quiet on the releasing-music front in 2016 as she’s been busy popping up at shows around Europe and the States. Today, she returns with a venting session over Late Registration‘s opening number. “It’s been a little while, so I’m just gonna speak from the heart and we’ll see how it goes,” she starts the freestyle before navigating the classic piano-led beat. She’s an artist who isn’t quite sure of her meaning yet, but she’s be damned if she doesn’t preach honesty while figuring herself out.
