Hiatus Kaiyote is one of the DopeHouse’s favorite groups, and when it was recently announced that they will be performing alongside Erykah Badu on August 3rd at Coney Island?
Anyways, the Australia-reared group will release a new EP, Recalibrations Vol. 1, on April 15th, which will feature remixes from their 2015 album Choose Your Weapon. For its first offering they link up with another DopeHouse favorite, Anderson .Paak and producer Taylor McFerrin (yes, he’s the son of Bobby) for this upgrade of “Laputa.”
