When it was initially announced, it seemed like 2 Chainz‘s ColleGrove was a joint project between the Atlanta rapper and Lil Wayne. It turned out it was just 2 Chainz’s project with Weezy appearing on two-thirds of the songs. Nevertheless, their chemistry didn’t go unnoticed, and the fact artists these big came together for a project at all has been a highlight in rap music this year thus far.
Over the last week, Genius has been releasing its interview with the two rappers in parts (highlighted by the two paying respects to Goodie Mobb and, more specifically, Cee-Lo) to further push and explain the reasoning behind the collaboration. Today, we get another ditty of promotion — a remix to “MFN Right,” one of the only songs without Lil Wayne, alongside Tunechi. And as a forewarning: Wayne be spittin’.
