Rich Boy – “Out the Hood” f. Yo Gotti (Video)

blame it on Shake April 15, 2016

Did you know Rich Boy dropped an album this year? Or better yet, since 2007 was damn near ten years ago, do you even know who Rich Boy is?

Since his break in 2007, the Alabama native struggled to match the success of “Throw Some D’s” and threw up nothing but bricks with the albums that followed.

In 2014, it looked like Rich was on the verge of a comeback with tracks alongside Hit-Boy (“No Talkin“), The Game (“Ridin’ Thru My City“), and Curren$y (“Flight (Burning One)“), but the release of Featuring came and went without much noise—despite boasting features from Ty Dolla $ign, Game, Spitta, Dom Kennedy, Slim Thug, Young Chris, and more.

Fast forward to February, and Rich Boy stepped to the place once again with Chevy Muzik. This time, the features were minimal with Rich handling the majority of the 20 tracks by himself.

Sitting at 18, “Out the Hood” with a hook from Yo Gotti, gets a quick visual release—available above.

And since I mentioned “Throw Some D’s” earlier, revisit the Polow Da Don-produced single—and two remixes with Kanye West, André 3000, The Game, and more—below.
