Planet Asia Fires on All Cylinders With Off-the-Dome ‘5 Fingers Of Death’ Freestyle

King Medallions, aka Planet Asia understands that there’s a serious imbalance in the world of rap these days. The ratio of gifted lyricist to sucker emcee is disheartening — and with social media in play, the waters will only get muddier, as more rappers fill into the fold, putting more suffocating pressure on the game.

This topic of discussion (among many others) was illuminated by the Gold Chain Military General on his Seventy Nine collaborative project with DJ Concept, released last month.

To help promote the album, PA headed up to Sway In the Morning to demonstrate exactly how to peel back this rap shit to to the white meat, virtually assaulting our eardrums with a vicious, off-the-dome freestyle for another historical 5 Fingers Of Death session.

Watch the Fresno legend unleash powerful bars over Black Moon’s “I Gotcha Opin (Remix),” Dr. Dre’s “Been There, Done That,” and more. Cop Seventy Nine on iTunes, gold vinyl (so West Coast!) and/or CD.
