Beyoncé Premieres ‘Lemonade’ Trailer

blame it on Meka April 18, 2016

Keep it real: everyone who visits or has visited this site enjoys at least one song from Beyoncé and/or Destiny’s Child, and there is no reason to be ashamed about it either. Judging by the massive male-based reaction for “Formation” (which she released for free, something that is relatively unheard of from an artist of her magnitude these days), there are many who echo those sentiments.

So what, exactly, is this “Lemonade” thing she has planned? Aside from a precursor for her Formation World Tour, not much is known about it outside of the fact that it will arrive April 23rd at 9pm EST on HBO. It’s likely a new song/music video, but since Beyoncé has been widely credited with the new-era “surprise release” following her self-titled fifth album in 2013 (and, most recently, the aforementioned “Formation”) it could be much more. Personally? I’m hoping it’s an ode to Gucci Mane’s The State vs. Radric Davis single. Either way, a full trailer for “Lemonade” has been revealed, and it can be viewed below.
