Rockie Fresh is, clearly, the quietest member of Rick Ross‘ MMG camp. He isn’t a loud, quick-triggered firecracker like Meek Mill, a contemplative fan of sports entertainment like Wale, an everyman like Stalley, or an anarchistic brute like Fat Trel. But his suppressed persona that makes for his unique music, as evidenced in his recent The Night I Went To… series.
While in Los Angeles Rockie connected with both Rick and frequent rhyme partner Casey Veggies for his video, “I Need.” Having recently celebrated his 25th birthday, Rockie appears to have found his lane within MMG, and it could be the thing that pushes him to the forefront.
