T-Pain – “Panda (Remix)” f. Young Cash

I don’t know if I’m sick of “Panda” yet.

It’s one of those songs that got hot long before the summer started, but given the fact it just hit No. 2 on the Billboard charts, it’ll most likely stick around for the next couple months. But between Kanye using it for his album (which I’ve had to talk about maybe a little too much) and how much Desiigner sounds like a rip-off of Future (which I’ve seen talked about on the Internet maybe a little too much), it’s hitting the point of getting played out. But that doesn’t stop the rest of the world from rocking to it.

Over the last month, we’ve gotten remixes from the song by Joell Ortiz, Meek Mill and Joyner Lucas (who killed it), and now T-Pain has joined the party. And, boy, did he do his damn thing.

(I’ve gotta be real. Before I finished this post, we found out Prince died. And now my mood isn’t as upbeat as it used to be, naturally. But if you’re mourning, use this song to lift your spirits for a bit. T-Pain really did rip it, and it’s nice to hear Teddy have this much energy. As he said in the song, he’s ready for a comeback — as if he ever really left. But at the same time, you know T-Pain was influenced by Prince. Everyone was.)

Listen to the remix below.
