Oakland production duo G-Koop and O-Man kick off the 55th episode (following their work with Atmosphere’s Ant and Brother Ali) of their on-going GKOM beatmaking docu-series, and this time, they’re switching the spotlight on some homegrown talent, highlighting the new wave Bay Area movement and HBK Gang’s Skipper.
The new episode — well into season 3 now — comes packed with a six-track EP aptly titled Profile, featuring Skip and CJ, and includes the song’s instrumental, the “Big Bounce” mix, a “Smokers” mix, a “Mega Dub” mix and a clean radio edit for all you DJs.
