The first — and, prior to this piece, only — article written about Toronto-based artist/producer Ty Senoj was about his and Joe Impala’s 2014 single “Hunnid Fiddy Milly.” The trap-influenced rapper culls his sound from a variety of regional sounds, from Atlanta’s rowdy energy to Houston’s sauce-dripped and laid-back vibes. Having spent the last few years working on both his sound and craft, Ty has finally revealed his new project Listen To Your Daddy.
Senoj keeps it local throughout the fourteen-track project, relying on the talents of his New Wave Order cohorts, as well as Swayzeekeep6, Cxleb, Llord Horus, and others to assist him.
