Run the Jewels *technically* didn’t release an album last year, which is never a good bit of news. (Meow The Jewels and some hilarious/disturbing videos dropped throughout the year.)
But over the last couple months, it seems Killer Mike and El-P are gearing up for their next drop: Run the Jewels 3. (P teased some music at the end of the year.)
Monday morning, the duo sat down with Beats 1 radio’s Zane Lowe to talk about their upcoming album, along with their performances at Coachella the last two weekends, befriending Bernie Sanders, wanting to work with M.I.A. (they tried to get her for “Oh My Darling Don’t Cry“) and much more.

Lowe was able to listen to three songs from the project, and he described the beats as the best he’s ever heard from El-P. So, needless to say, we’re f*cking excited.
