As expected, Drake had a huge first week with his fourth album VIEWS. However, it has thus far turned out to be the biggest first week in his career.

Following the 495,000 copies sold during the first seven days of If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, and the 334,000 copies of What a Time to Be Alive with Future, it is being reported by Hits Daily Double that Aubrey has moved approximately 802,987 in the first seven days of VIEWS‘ release, after apparently moving 600,000 units in its opening night. The album easily superseded Beyoncé’s sixth studio album Lemonade, which dropped to No. 2 with approximately 152,346 in sales and streaming units.

So what to do to celebrate? Listen, as an enterprising member of the online community took every single time Drake said “Yeah” on VIEWS and rolled it into one Instagram post.

UPDATE: Looks like HDD’s numbers were a bit off… by about 400,000.

According to his label, Republic Records, it is being reported that VIEWS has sold 1.2 million copies (including streaming album equivalents) planet-wide, with most of those sales coming from the U.S. The album was streamed over 250 million times in the same time period. Sheesh!
