Each year, Hot 97 has always tried to outdo itself during its annual SummerJam concert, yet after the mishap of 2015 few people (myself included) have been apprehensive of what the Ennis Communications-reared hip hop station could do to turn it around. Well, from the looks of the 2016 incarnation it may appear that things may be back on track.

Following the announcement that Chance The Rapper, Bryson Tiller, Big Sean, Pusha T, DJ Khaled, Curren$y, and a host of others will perform at either the Festival Stage or the Stadium Stage, Hot 97 has now revealed that both Future and a reunion from the Terror Squad will also hit the main stage.

There isn’t anything that needs to be said about Future and his long-running winning streak lately, however Fat Joe and Remy Ma — who currently have a hit single on their hands with “All The Way Up” — will reunite with their cohorts Cuban Link, Triple Seis, Tony Sunshine, and Armageddon for the first time in years, which could provide for a dope set.

However, SummerJam still has to compete with another concert, Governors Ball, on the same day, considering that Kanye West will headline that festival the same day as SummerJam.
