With his new album, The Legend Of The Phoenix, slated to arrive May 13th, Sincerely Collins unveils one of the more personal tracks from the project, “Better Different.”
A six-minute venting session, the Phoenix son unloads everything off of his chest: struggling with the loss of his mother at such a young age, becoming an unexpected father after high school, homelessness, falling out with one of his closest friends, and everything in between. Collins leaves it all on the table with this double-tracked biographical salvo. With The Legend, he hopes to prove that the underdog will come out on top. Judging from songs like this, he may very well succeed.
