Despite the immense societal difficulties that stem from growing up in the city of Compton, that pressure can sometimes mold coal into diamonds. Case in point: The Game, Problem, and Boogie: the three connect together for a new offering, “Roped Off.”
The three let their proverbial flags wave proudly throughout the track, reminding listeners that — despite that life is much better for them — they still aren’t afraid to show potential detractors where they’re from. It’s a Compton thing; some wouldn’t understand.
