While drafting up this post, I finally had the time to sit down and marinate with 9th House’s (I Self Devine and Muja Messiah) self-titled LP, and boy, have I been sleeping. It’s definitely $9 well spent, and will be on continuos rotation.
With the two Minneapolis artists slated to perform at Soundset (alongside A$AP Rocky, Anderson .Paak, Common, Atmosphere and more) later this month, and in wake of current events, 9th House has decided to pen an anthem for the Black Lives Matter movement with “We Ain’t Scared” featuring Lady Midnight.
