The last time For the last Gucci Mane was free LeBron James was with the Miami Heat, Nelson Mandela was still alive and Frozen was dominating the box offices. Well it appears that he has finally been released, and a few months early to boot.

Earlier today his longtime girlfriend, Keyshia Ka’oir, took to her SnapChat account to reveal her holding a hand. Upon closer look, the hand bears similar ink work to that of one Radric Davis’ right hand:

Ultimately, TMZ confirmed that Gucci Mane has in fact been released, four months ahead of his scheduled September release. The entertainment website spoke to Gucci’s lawyer, Drew Findling, who verified that he was released Thursday morning (May 26th) from an Atlanta prison.

Findling filed a motion stating that Gucci had not received credit for time served, and it appears that the judge ultimately agreed with the motion, resulting in Gucci being released a few months early.

It is also being reported Gucci will be on house arrest for the next few months, followed by probation. So fans should not get too excited just yet, as he will keep a (court-mandated) low-profile for the time being.

However, he’s already been seen back in the studio, less than an hour after getting out—because, of course!
