Back in February, TDE stalwart Jay Rock had gotten injured in a motorcycle accident. Fortunately, he made a full recovery, and had been spotted in public alongside his TDE brothers in recent weeks. He made his return to the stage at Minnesota’s Soundset Festival during Memorial Day weekend, and he sat down with Nicky G for Sway in The Morning to provide an update on everything.
Catching him as he wrapped up his performance, Jay speaks on the accident that resulted in both a broken leg and cracked pelvis. He also goes into detail about his verse on YG’s “I Just Wanna Party,” as well as the advice the likes of E-40, Busta Rhymes, DJ Quik, and Dr. Dre have given him.
