Father dropped his I’m A Piece Of Shit LP in March, but since, the Awful Records signee hasn’t done much on the Internet world in terms of releasing music. But today, he returns with “Heartthrob,” a more subdued version of his usual blunt, sexual and monotonous self.
Though his usual confident personality is still there, Father reflects on a time where he was in love and “chillin’ on the West End,” which is a nice change of pace from the upfront and less committed themes of his music. There’s no word on if the song will land anywhere, but it’s a nice return after a brief bit of dormancy.
