Despite performing alongside the likes of Miguel, The Killers, Mac Miller, M83, and Haim, De La Soul put one one of the more memorable sets at the waterlogged Governors Ball. In front of a crowd of predominately young (like, “high school young”) men and women, they ran through their two decades-long catalog to the exuberant crowd.

Dave, Maseo, and Posdunos recently stopped by Sway’s Shade 45 morning radio show for a sit-down, with Kaytranada in tow. While there they spoke on being able to tour for the almost 30 years, how acts like the Fine Young Cannibals, Bob Dylan and N.W.A. have influenced their sound, the generational gap in rap, and much more.
