If you haven’t caught any episodes in Noisey’s “The People Vs.” series, you’re missing out on some of the wittiest commentary from rappers on the Internet. From Vince Staples to A$AP Rocky to Pusha T, many a rapper have sat on a couch and responded to YouTube commenters both complimentary and mean. (But if we’re being real, mostly mean.)
G-Eazy is next up, and fans (and plenty of non-fans) stopped by his “Me, Myself & I” video to offer their opinions on Mr. Gerald Gillum. With no reason to hold back, commenters compared G-Eazy to the devil, Drake and Eminem all while discussing the content of his music and his aspirations of getting into acting. This is probably one of the harsher comment sections — or, at least one of the harsher selections of comments — yet, and Young Gerald did his best to not seem too defeated.
