In our long quest to search for music to fit certain situations (i.e. trying to find the soundtrack to your summer), sometimes you have to reach back more than a couple months to find it. In February, LION BABE delivered one of the brighter and uptempo releases of the year with Begin featuring standouts “Jump Hi” and “Where Do We Go,” which can slide right into rotation as the sun beats down on planet Earth.

Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman are set to build on those sounds with a new mixtape, Sun Joint, at some point this summer. Today, they deliver the first sound with “Endless Summer” — a dedication to moving onward and upward with a little help from vibrant energy of the summer.

The duo explained how they had help from multiple friends to curate the song:

Started from a beat by Paul Proteus (also produced on Jungle Lady), we then wrote it with Joel Compass (Impossible, Whole, On The Rocks), and it features Brohogany Sistabublz of Very Black on the bridge. More production by Astro Raw and finally mixed by Simen Solvang from The Joint Recording. These guys have been integral to #teamLIONBABE and we thank them for contributing and working with us to make this song.
