Anik Khan is a young Queens-by-way-of-Bangladesh rapper. Las week, he debuted his newest tune, “Renegade,” which was initially premiered on Ebro’s Beats 1 radio show.
The beginning of the song acts as Khan’s powerful, banging pep rally to the troops joining in the uprising before transforming into a groovy-yet-calming, Arfopop-influenced participation in said renegade. It’s rap, but it’s rap influenced from every corner of the world that’s experienced oppression turned into pride and revolution.
