Kweku Collins Talks Growing Up Near Chicago, Influences & More w/ Peter Rosenberg

blame it on Patrick Glynn June 20, 2016

With his Nat Love LP still pretty fresh in our ears, Kweku Collins stopped by Hot 97’s Real Late with Peter Rosenberg to help introduce himself to a winder audience outside of Evanston, Illinois and Chicago.

During the 17-minute conversation, the two talked about Kweku’s influences as a kid (which reign from Black Sabbath to Bob Marley to Young Thug), growing up near Chicago, his social media presence along with a pretty weird (and unprofessional) conversation/guessing game about which one of Kweku’s parents is white and which is black. But anyway…

Kweku finished the interview spitting some off-the-top bars over Pete Rock instrumentals with his signature wavers in cadence.
