Over the course of the night, the BET Awards will pay tribute to Prince with a number of performances.
To kick off the first round of covers, Dave Chappelle introduced The Roots, Erykah Badu and Bilal, who performed “Dorothy Parker” and “The Beautiful Ones.” (Bilal and Captain Kirk KILLED the latter.)
Over the course of the rest of the night, Stevie Wonder, Sheila E., D’Angelo and more took the stage, too.
