This track reminds me of when Hollywood would just remake/appropriate existing films when they’ve run out of ideas. Think the upcoming 38th, 39th and 40th installments of The Fast & The Furious, or the 2016 version of Ghostbusters.
Nevermind that the instrumental simply repurposes Ty Dolla $ign and Casey Veggies’ “Wonderful,” which dropped in 2015, or that A$AP Ferg already did a song titled “Shabba” back in 2013. This song feels like one giant “do-over” which isn’t surprising given that Chris has a penchant for doing the same thing over and over again.
