All of these Tim Westwood throwback freestyle sessions end up intertwining somehow, and that speaks to two things: Tim Westwood’s timeliness in scheduling all of these throwback sessions and the amount of people this DJ has interviewed and spun records for to let people freestyle over.

A couple weeks ago, Westwood shared a vintage freestyle session with Fat Joe and DJ Khaled spinning records. Both had been in music headlines recently — Khaled for being Khaled, and Fat Joe for having his biggest hit since “Lean Back.” So where does Westwood head this week for his throwback? Lloyd Banks‘ 2004 freestyle over “Lean Back.”

Yesterday was also the 12-year anniversary of the G-Unit member’s The Hunger For More LP — his biggest and most commercially successful piece of work.

Listen to five minutes of Lloyd Banks over “Lean Back” below.
