Whenever I wind up posting a Tyga song or video, it’s hard to find something nice to say, and then commenters get mad. They say, “c’mon, the media won’t give this dude a break.” But when will Tyga ever give US a break, huh?
Anyway, it’s all nice this time around, though, as the Cali rapper unveils his “1 of 1” visuals.
While the song may have caused a bit of a shake up due to its similar sound to a mediocre, island-influenced tune from one of the biggest artists in the world, the video is a bit more tame.
In it, Tyga heads to Jamaica with SNS alum Amina Blue after visiting the country because Kingston is similar in its ruggedness as his hometown, Compton. (Nothing mean, Patrick. You can do this.) The two travel around seeing the sites of the city, eventually settling on a calming ride down a river, and we’ll leave it at that.
