Avenue of the Giants — a rock and roll band based out of Atlanta, GA — have been hard at work, putting the final touches on their upcoming album Whisper to Lions.
While I’m entirely new to their music, as I’m sure some of you are, their new single “Life Less Criminal” which sees an unexpected gathering of a who’s who in rap — David Banner, Rittz and Sa-Roc may very well quell any doubts and hesitations.
While on paper, it may not seem like the greatest fit, it surprisingly works, in the same way the “Suckers For Pain” single featuring Lil Wayne, Logic, Ty Dolla $ign and X-Ambassadors works. Plus, Devon Lewow’s agressive, Rage Against the Machine-esque rhythm guitar gives the song an energetic edge.
