As we wait for volume two of Azekel‘s Raw EP series, the British singer shares his second song in as many weeks with “Stuck.”
A song about fighting through bumpy parts of a relationship — either during or after it’s all said and done — Azekel constantly finds himself drawn back to this woman.
“I’m stuck at the bottom of your shoe, don’t know what I am to do. It seems I’m right where you always wanted me,” he sings on the chorus, as piano-led arrangement and scratchy drums play beneath his accepting words.
“It’s about being in a relationship that somehow you feel compelled to stay in and being drawn back even through the rough patches,” Azekel told The FADER, who premiered the song. “I produced the beat to be a mirror of the raw and emotive lyrics.”
