On Sunday, July 10th Pharrell and Scott Vener’s OTHERtone Radio will air the duo’s interview with KiD CuDi. CuDi, who rarely gives interviews these days, got personal in the sit-down, reflecting on his 13-year career and the many stops he has made along the way.

Throughout the interview, CuDi talked about what led to his past drug use (which, incidentally, produced the vintage quotes “we don’t f*ck with you musically” and “I’m just f***ing rich, and my blow comes in a jar”): the pressures of fame and success and growing up around drug-addicted family members. Things aren’t always bleak, however, as Scott fondly remembers his times on G.O.O.D. Music with Kanye West and his lone collaborative effort with JAY Z, “Already Home” on The Blueprint 3, and even when he first moved from New York from Cleveland and ended up working at the infamous BAPE store in Manhattan’s SoHo district.

Watch some extended clips of their interview below.
