I highly doubt that YMBape — aka, the guy who’s terrorizing anyone wearing Supreme — will voice his disdain for the brand to Radric Davis any time soon.
Gucci Mane has been out of prison for a few weeks, and he’s already got an album (Everybody Lookin’) and a concert (Gucci Mane & Friends) on the horizon. Now, he’s been tapped by streetwear company Supreme for a new advert directed by his Spring Breakers partner Harmony Korine.
Clearly in much brighter spirits, the spot follows Gucci throughout his home (he is still on a court-mandated house arrest) giving fans brief insight into his life post-incarceration. The clip also previews a song from the Gooch, which is essentially an off-kilter take on Prince & The Revolution’s “1999”. Whether or not this leads to a collaboration with Supreme remains to be seen.
