On June 13, a plane carrying Lil Wayne and his team had to make an emergency stop in Omaha, Nebraska, when Wayne suffered from a seizure — something that’s happened before and nearly killed him a couple years back.
But by the time Weezy reached medics, he declined medical attention and got back on the plane. But less than 30 minutes after being in the air again, he had another seizure. This time, he went to the hospital and was released a couple days later.
For the second time in less than a month, Lil Wayne has been hospitalized once again for seizures, similar to when he had to go to the hospital a couple times in a week in 2013.
According to TMZ, Weezy suffered the seizure before he went on stage at TAO night club in Las Vegas over the weekend for a pre-UFC 200 party. He was treated and “chalked it up to a medication issue,” and he’s now resting in Miami.
Keep your prayers up for Weezy. He’ll probably be suffering from epilepsy the rest of his life, so let’s hope a proper medication dosage will let us not write these headlines (nearly as often) in the future.
