Justice – “Safe And Sound”

French duo Justice has created some of the best dance/funk fusion on this side of Daft Punk‘s Homework with their last two albums, and Audio, Video, Disco.

Today, Gaspard Michel Andre Augé and Xavier de Rosnay return for the first time in five years with a new song, “Safe And Sound,” full of aggressive bass slaps, string arrangements and energy fueled by a rocket from the funk heavens.

“Head up, foot down, speed of sound,” a group of singers chant on the chorus, almost announcing the band’s return to releasing music and warning of the intense sounds that are to come.

Justice haven’t officially announced a project yet, but if “Safe And Sound” is any indication, they’re certainly back at peak powers and have the ability to make a stellar third album.
