Rome Fortune has released one project this year (Jerome Raheem Fortune) to Tunji Ige‘s two (Missed Calls and Prince of July). Not that the two are in direct competition, but it seems the Atlanta native will catch up to Ige soon with a new addition to his Beautiful Pimps series.
In the meantime, the two join forces for an oozing, synth-laden track, “Damn,” produced by Heaven In Stereo, seemingly curated in a loose, freestyle-type environment. Nevertheless, the two show some nice chemistry as they trade verses and hooks making sure the “damn” ad-lib never gets misplaced along the way.
