Though M.I.A. (with visa issues) and her next album (with label issues) have both been stuck in escrow over the last couple months, both are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with her new single, “Go Off,” produced by Skrillex.
In an interview with Annie Mac, M.I.A. said her fifth and final studio album will officially be called AIM, and it’s set to be released September 9. She said it’ll be her “cleanest” album yet — which she clarified means there will be “no complaints” and show her happy side, joking that she actually has one.
