Oakland-based artist Kamaiyah landed on everyone’s radar with her well-received debut album, A Good Night In The Ghetto. Her music eventually attracted the attention of both YG (who joined her on her album’s single “F*ck It Up”) and Drake, and the three collaborated on the former’s Still Brazy single “Why You Always Hatin’?

Ill Yaya has released an accompanying documentary to the album. In the 16-minute clip viewers get to know more about the 21-year-old musician, which reveals the harshness of her East Oakland neighborhood as well as the family and friends which helped shape and fuel her career. Kehlani, YG and DJ Mustard make appearances alongside her BMG affiliates.
