Kemba – “Greed”

When Kemba was known to the rap world as YC the Cynic, the album that helped gain deserved notoriety was GNK. One of the album standouts was “Negus,” a witty exposé of his deep knowledge of world history and righteousness, and it turns out it’ll be the name of his first original project since changing aliases.

With Negus dropping Friday, the New York native shares the final single, “Greed” — in addition to “The New Black Theory” and “Already.”

Highlighted by artwork featuring two of the greediest people in in America over the last quarter of a century, Kemba takes the role of money- and power-hungry people riddled throughout the U.S., highlighting the trait will be the downfall of us all.
