I looked at the name of Joe Moses‘ new song, “WCW,” and thought, he should’ve dropped this on a Wednesday — that would’ve been pretty good timing.
For some reason, today feels like not a Wednesday but rather any other day of the week. I didn’t wake up excited about the work week being two days from slowing down. It didn’t click that the reason I woke up so groggy was because of Token Tuesday — a weekly “drinks are cheaper than normal” night at a bar here in Gainesville — which would make today Wednesday. So the sooner today is over, the better it is for my mental state and the rest of us in general.
Anyway, Moses’ tune is dedicated to the women who are the subject of men’s “Women Crush Wednesdays” on Instagram — and in Joe’s case, it’s Bernice Burgos, an SNS alum from a couple years back.
