ROFFLE.

Have you ever watched an episode of Empire on FOX? When my cousin lived with me for a few months in 2015 she watched it rather religiously, so I was introduced to the madness. On one hand, I can see why it’s one of the most popular shows on television, but on the other hand it had some of the most outrageous stories I’d ever witnessed (and I maybe caught, like, four episodes in total). Chris Rock’s character was a super-goon, Terrence Howard’s character somehow made a CDQ hit song in a prison janitor closet, I saw Taraji P. Henson in a gorilla costume, and Petey Pablo… Petey Pablo!

Now, as good ol’ Jim Ross is wont to say, business is about to pick up.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that KiD CuDi has signed on to join the cast of the drama in its upcoming third season. Even better, CuDi will immediately be thrown into the mix, as he will portray Gram, a rival musician to Bryshere Gray’s character Hakeem. Even better: Gram goes all “Mr. Steal-Your-Girl” on the show, and is dating Hakeem’s ex Tiana.

Empire arrives September 21st.
