Following her breakout 2015, Kehlani spent an early portion of 2016 handling some personal affairs. Fortunately she has pushed through those proverbial clouds and has been prepping for the release of her major label debut album via Atlantic.
After showing off her “CRZY” side, the Bay Area songstress unveils that album’s second offering, “Distraction.” Keeping in tune with her brand of “90s-inspired meets the new millennia” R&B, the song is an incredible mid-tempo groove. By the looks of things, Kehlani’s next album will remain in the same aural vein as You Should Be Here; that’s a good thing.
