One of these days, I need to make it out to San Diego for Comic Con. Sitting from a computer and watching all these exclusive trailers, teasers and clips are cool and all, but I want to be able to physically feel the palpable energy in Hall H.
Anyways, after Marvel unveiled teasers for Luke Cage, The Defenders and Iron Fist on Thursday, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment decided to take over Hall H today (Saturday, July 23rd).
And of course, they did not disappoint. Zack Snyder and Patty Jenkins both premiered exclusive first looks for the upcoming Justice League (which is still filming as of this writing) and Wonder Woman films.
While the general consensus of Batman v Superman was mainly negative, pointing a collective finger at the underwhelming performance by Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, overtly edgy editing and a somewhat tepid plotline around two mothers named Martha (hey, I still thoroughly enjoyed the Extended Cut), most critics and moviegoers agreed that Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot’s portrayals of Batman and Wonder Woman, respectively, were the highlights of the entire film.
Watch the first trailers for Wonder Woman – starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine – and Justice League – starring Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Jeremy Irons (Alfred), J.K. Simmons (Commissioner Gordon), Amber Heard (Queen Mera) and Willem Dafoe (Nuidis Vulko) – below.
Wonder Woman arrives June 2nd, 2017, while Justice League is scheduled for November 17th, 2017.
Extra bonus time. Watch the official season 3 trailer for The CW’s The Flash.
