Last month, Candice Boyd and French Montana got together for “Damn Good Time” — a song dedicated to getting over a break-up and relieving stress by simply having a “damn good time.” (These radio song writers really figured it all out, haven’t they.)
Now, the two friends get together for the visual, which features French picking up women and Boyd — and friends — getting a bit of revenge by sticking up the dude who did her wrong. I guess that’s what translates to having a damn good time. I’m all for it.
Boyd spoke with Rap-Up about how the collaboration came together:
He has that sound right now and he just signed with Epic. I just signed with Epic, so it was the perfect collaboration. It was just his whole sound, his whole flavor, and I think he killed it.
She also discussed signing a record deal, working with Ne-Yo and more in the interview.
