Ugly Heroes, a trio consisting of Red Pill, Apollo Brown and Verbal Kent, released their Everything In Between project via Mello Music Group last month. Today, they’re revisiting it with a video for the album’s second track, “Daisies.”
On the song, Kent and Red Pill reflect on their lives, with the former speaking in the tense of someone offering a eulogy at his wake. The visual follows suit, as Kent crawls from near death to help (from producer Apollo Brown) and Red Pill locks himself in a garage locked inside of a started car before coming to his senses near death. Though both have clearly felt defeated more than once in life, they’ve been able to find shades of beauty to help keep them pushing on.
