For the collaboration, the two, along with Lex Luger, curated “Baller Alert” — a song meant to boost the core of the campaign, which “aims to further inspire others to be their true selves,” according to Billboard, who premiered the single.
The campaign is inspired by Under Armour representative and New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall and his fight with mental illness. Marshall was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder in 2011.
Quavo talked to Billboard about what he hopes people get from the collaboration:
“How people of all ages can unite. I’m 25. T.I’s older than me and Brandon [Marshall] is in the middle so it shows growth. We’re hanging out. It doesn’t have to be all guys who are older veterans. It lets you know we can relate stronger [with] a broader outlook.”
He also clarified his remarks that the dab is dead, how the collab came together and more.
