2 Chainz Is Dropping A Mixtape On Friday, Featuring Drake

blame it on Shake August 2, 2016

Back in June, we released our Midyear Report that broke down the Top 10 albums (including non-hip hop), stories, TV shows, and songs of the year (so far, of course).

We also listed our Top 10 Emcees; with 2 Chainz taking the No. 8 spot. For good reason, too: the man born Tauheed Epps has been on a roll!

Ever since he Felt Like Cappin’ in January, Chainz went on to drop Collegrove with “featuring” Lil Wayne, and has been torching guest spots left and right — Future’s “100it Racks,” Kanye West’s star-studded Cruel Winter single “Champions,” and Problem’s “My Squad,” to name a few. Oh, and he also held an insanely dope “Smoke Break” with Statik Selektah.

While most (not named Curren$y) would be content on the run, Chainz is not. And on Friday, he’ll be releasing another new project.

Dubbed Daniel Son: The Necklace Don, the ATLien took to Instagram to make the announcement — revealing a collaboration with Drake in the process.

Comin this Friday ……. “Daniel Son ; Necklace Don” …..Time for some new music ????
