BANKS – “Gemini Feed”

blame it on Patrick Glynn August 2, 2016

BANKS returned with a haunting splash last month with “Fuck With Myself,” announcing her sophomore album, The Altar, along the way.

With the project set to drop on the final day of September, the LA singer keeps the hype bubbling with a second single, “Gemini Feed.”

Picking up the tempo a bit from the previous single, BANKS takes a reflecting, commanding stance on her place in a relationship on the single, where her vocals open up as they wrap around the warbling, synth-heavy production.

BANKS described her album as a “metamorphosis of me coming into my own” on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, where the song premiered. “I feel empowered; I want to take up space.” She also said she’s worked with DJ Dahi, Belly, Tim Anderson and more on the album.
